"Bots" and "WoW Classic", this is probably a never-ending story. Thanks to the direct feedback from Blizzard , we now increasingly have the feeling that our reports in the game actually bring something. But such success stories only ensure that the fraudulent minds behind the cheating characters come up with new strategies to turn gold into money.
WoW Classic: Guildless, Rogue, Blackrock Depths - this screams bot. Source: buffed After the start of Phase 5 of WoW Classic, we can observe that there are a surprisingly large number of guildless rogues in the Blackrock Depths on various servers. This was brought to our attention by the Youtuber WillE, who has been pointing out the bot problem with his videos for months. And even on German servers like Razorfen, a quick "Who" check shows that several rogues have made themselves comfortable in the Blackrock depths.
Well, the 5-player instance was already a popular farming spot for some rogues in phase 1. After all, even with a poorly equipped rogue, you can get quite a bit of gold out of the pockets of the local dwarves. However, other farming locations such as Bleak Quarry East or, more recently, the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj yield significantly more gold per hour. The
big plus point of Blackrock Depths, however, is that the dwarves' pockets automatically refill with content after some time
. Theinstance does not have to be reset at any time, which is of course worth its weight in gold in view of the instance limit introduced in June.
How does it look on your server? Are there rogue bots roaming the depths of Blackrock? Tell us in the comments!
