WoW: Difficulty level of Torghast becomes more transparent

Who doesn't know the problem: You've fought your way through the lower levels of a corridor in Torghast, defeated the final boss in a relatively relaxed manner, and are fully motivated to tackle the next higher level - only to fail miserably due to its significantly higher difficulty level. The result: You've spent half an hour struggling through Torghast for nothing, because you underestimated the difficulty level.

To make this happen less often in the future, the WoW developers want to make the difficulty of the individual Torghast levels more transparent with the upcoming patch 9.0.5

. Therefore, they will add an additional tooltip to the user interface of the level selection in Torghast, which will display a concrete item level recommendation. If you have a character with the appropriate equipment, you should have no major difficulties with the enemies and bosses of the respective level - subject to deviations depending on the class played.

The individual recommendations for the Torghast levels are as follows:

  • Level 1: Itemlevel 130 (Normal) resp. 170 (Winding Corridors)
  • Level 2: Itemlevel 150 (Normal) or 180 (Winding Corridors)
  • Level 3: Itemlevel 160 (Normal) resp. 185 (Winding Corridors)
  • Level 4: Itemlevel 165 (Normal) resp. 195 (Winded Corridors)
  • Level 5: Itemlevel 175 (Normal) resp. 200 (Winded Corridors)
  • Level 6: Itemlevel 180 (Normal) resp. 210 (Winding Corridors)
  • Level 7: Itemlevel 185 (Normal) resp. 220 (Winding Corridors)
  • Level 8: Item level 195 (Normal) or 225 (Winded Corridors)

The recommendations are really only recommendations and no access restriction. So you don't have to worry that you will only be allowed to enter a level if your character has reached the corresponding item level.
