In the Sanctum of Domination, the second raid of WoW: Shadowlands, players of the online role-playing game will encounter all sorts of celebrities from the past of Warcraft and WoW. Among them is the ex-warchief Garrosh Hellscream, who has covered himself with blood rather than glory in the events of Mists of Pandaria.

Sightseeing through the Shadowlands
After his death, Garrosh's soul ended up in Revendreth, where it was used by the Venthyr as a powerful anima source. His soul fared similarly after its arrival in the Maw. Garrosh was imprisoned in the Sanctum of Domination, where soul shredder Dormazain looked forward to eternities of probing Garrosh's weaknesses. It's not for nothing that the guy is named Soul Fetzer. But our heroes put a stop to Dormazain's plans. In the end, Garrosh manages to break free of his chains after our victory over the Soul Fetzer.
Nothing has changed
In the in-game footage afterwards, it's revealed that even the torture from the torture did nothing to Garrosh's pride. He gets his revenge on Domazain by grabbing the latter's blade and lunging at the soul shredder with angry cries that he would make all decisions the same way again. Garrosh has no regrets, and Garrosh bows to no one. With an explosion from Anima, Garrosh perishes like Dormazain.
One WoW fan, Maditdrakes, finds this scene so important and weighty that he's unceremoniously remodeled the in-game scenes, which come across as a bit stodgy, into a bona fide cinematic worthy of Garrosh's final act. Check it out!
