WoW: Hotfixes from August 14th fix bug with Sylvanas

One last time for this second week of August 2021, there are a few new hotfixes. The WoW developers have fixed several minor issues with the mini-patch, including a bug in the fight against Sylvanas and display errors with some leather and chain armor. In addition, the Windrunner Monk's elemental spirits should now deal the same amount of damage as intended.

Below you can read the official English patch notes. As soon as Blizzard has released the German patch notes, we will update this post. Hotfixes are updates that are applied server-side without the need to download new data. Some of the changes listed below will take effect as soon as Blizzard implements them, whereas others will only take effect after an announced realm restart. Please note that some issues cannot be fixed without a client-side patch.

Classes

• Monk
  • Windwalker
    • Resolved an issue where Storm, Earth, and Fire spirits could deal increased damage with their abilities during the small window of time while they are returning to your Monk after Storm, Earth, and Fire's duration has expired.

Dungeons and Raids

• Sanctum of Domination
  • Sylvanas Windrunner
    • Resolved an issue that could cause Veil of Darkness to not strike any targets in Stage 3.

Items and Rewards

• Some leather and mail covenant armor should now show up properly on the Kyrian and Necrolord Renown Quartermasters with the default filters set.
