Blizzard currently has its hands full fixing the bugs in patch 8.3. Now another serious bug has been uncovered. As Community Manager Kaivax announced in the official forum, the War Mode bonus for the daily quests in the Valley of Eternal Blossoms and Uldum has been removed.
Thereason for this is the fix of another bug.
Those who previously activated the War Mode and struggled with the other faction in Uldum and Pandaria for some more resources, gold and Manifested Visions are looking down the tube. That's because the bug has been around since Thursday. Despite the graphical indication that there are additional resources, nothing was ever credited. Other world quests are not affected by this bug. According to Kaivax's blue post, the bonuses should be active again in the following days.
Original post:
We'd like to confirm that, yes, the expected War Mode bonus for Visions of N'Zoth Daily Quests has been disabled since Thursday.
This was necessary for our team to work to quickly fix a different issue. Our top priority right now is addressing these concerns, and we expect to restore all intended functionality in the coming days.
War Mode and the bonuses granted by War Mode in all other content are unaffected.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.
