WoW Shadowlands: How to get the awesome toad mount with Ardenwald look

As a new expansion, WoW Shadowlands naturally brings along a large array of mounts again. In addition to two-headed beasts from Maldraxxus and fearsome dungeon master mews, there are majestic Ardendwald deer, for example. The latter seem to be getting amphibious company. Dataminers have uncovered a fantastic new mount that definitely belongs in the Ardenwald: Datamining has unveiled this cool frog mount with Ardenwald look. Source: wowhead

The Forest Swallower - The New Ardenwald Frog Mount

The mount represents an ingenious advancement, as the basic rigging model is by no means new, but has been given a great Shadowlands touch by the developers. For example, you can see places where the primal frog king even has moss growing on his skin. In addition, his face and feet are made of tree bark. With a sleeping mat and backpack on the saddle, you're also ready for long excursions into the last corners of the Shadowlands.

How do I get the Forest Gobbler?

YouTuber "Slipder" recently uploaded a video in which he presents how to obtain the Forest Gobbler. We have summarized the most important steps for you.

  1. You will need an Unusually Large Mushroom - this item is dropped by numerous monsters in the Forest of Arden.
  2. You call the mushroom your own? Good - then you now have 20 minutes to find a special pile of clay in which you can plant the mushroom. You can find this pile of clay in the Arden Forest at the coordinates 32.5/30.3.
  3. In the following seconds, this mushroom will grow into an imposing rare elite opponent with the melodious name Humon'gozz.
  4. The fight now lasts several minutes - but don't worry: Humon'gozz is (as of October 4, 2020) not a serious opponent.
  5. As soon as you have sent the enemy mushroom to the eternal hunting grounds, the fairytale-like Ardenwald Toad Mount Forest Swallower awaits you. Have fun!
