In the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion Shadowlands, Maldraxxus is the only zone that exudes true Warcraft flair. Here, necromancers conduct their experiments on the souls of the ambitious and combative, and only the strongest are molded into undead soldiers who protect the Shadowlands. Those with great determination gain great power. Brutal selection has produced a formidable and capable army, but its hierarchy has faltered. The empire's longtime leader has disappeared, and in his absence, five of the most prominent death lords vie for his position. Will they turn against each other as their campaign begins, or against the realms they have sworn to protect?
