WoW: The return of reckoning - Rextroy oneshot with car hits

WoW phenom Rextroy doesn't need spoilers or PvP scaling to have his fun and creatively oneshot one or more players in the WoW Shadowlands pre-patch. For his latest video, he made use of the mechanics of the PvP ability Aura of Reckoning. Paladin players may remember this ability in a similar form from WoW Classic. That's why Rextroy also threw on his most classic kit he could find for the shoot.

Well, only with Auto Hits oneshottet Rextroy not, but otherwise also only one directional judgment for the combo plays a role. In addition to Aura of Reckoning, which causes a stackable buff to increase your next auto hit and trigger Wrathful Retribution, you'll need an Azerite setup with 3x Inspiring Drive triggered by Blessed Hammer. Yes, these are protection paladin abilities. Because after you build 50 stacks through Aura of Reckoning, you switch to Protection playstyle and an Azerite setup with Sailing Shield.

The idea behind this is to boost your mastery and thus increase your attack power so that your autohit does even more damage. For extra oomph, the Azerite traits Power of the Avenger, Indomitable Justice, and finally Strength of the Guardian in the large Azerite slot. With all these preparations, the combo looks like this:

  • Stacks Aura of Reckoning (just let low level mobs hit it).
  • Switch to protection playstyle with the 50 stacks
  • Use Blessed Hammer until you have built up 4 to 5 Holy Power
  • Find a player and cast with Angry Retribution and Seraphim
  • Stun the target or use Guardian Strength directly
  • Now oneshot the target with a powerful Autohit + Directional Judgement
