This will increase your reputation with the new factions of the Shadowlands much faster. And don't forget, the Ve'nari in the Maw is also considered a faction. The third advantage that many people tend to forget is the Darkmoon Faire's profession quests. They grant you a full five skill points of the respective profession for an extremely simple quest. This is unimportant in some cases, but in other professions it will save you a lot of gold. At the higher levels, each skill point costs you a lot of materials, which can be very expensive. If you can skip five points per fair, then you should definitely do it.
