WoW: Visit the Darkmoon Faire for profession points, extra XP and reputation

In the past weeks and months, the Darkmoon Faire in WoW has been rather a shadowy existence. Towards the end of the expansion, very few players were able to use the bonuses of the fairground. Currently, however, things look quite different again. Because at the fair you get three bonuses, which are currently as valuable as they are rare.

There is of

course

the

buff, which increases your experience points

.

You can get this on the carousel or the roller coaster. Since not all players have reached the maximum level, while others have already added more characters thanks to Shadowlands' twink-friendliness, many players benefit from the ten percent additional experience points. But even those who are on their way in the endgame should pick up the buff before playing. In addition to the experience points, the buff also increases your reputation. This will increase your reputation with the new factions of the Shadowlands much faster. And don't forget, the Ve'nari in the Maw is also considered a faction. You'll also increase your reputation with them faster with the buff, which will give you quicker access to powerful items like the Spatial Realignment Apparatus, thanks to which you can add an extra socket to your equipment. Or, of course, the various facilitations for Torghast, which also apply account-wide.

The third advantage that many people tend to forget is the Darkmoon Faire's profession quests. They grant you a full five skill points of the respective profession for an extremely simple quest. This is unimportant in some cases, but in other professions it will save you a lot of gold. At the higher levels, each skill point costs you a lot of materials, which can be very expensive. If you can skip five points per fair, then you should definitely do it.
