WoW: You now get more Anima from Mythic+ dungeons and raids

The Anima Drought has a firm grip on the Shadowlands. So it's no wonder that this important resource of the current WoW expansion is pretty scarce - maybe even a little too scarce. After all, collecting anima, which we need to expand our Pact Sanctum, can sometimes drag on like chewing gum. But the WoW developers have seen sense and are now responding to community feedback: They are increasing the amount of Anima we receive from Mythic+ dungeons and raids.

According to an official blue post (translated by us):
"With the weekly reset [Wednesday, February 10, 2021], the amount of Anima dropped by bosses in Mythic Keystone dungeons and raids will increase
.
Specifically, this means:

  • Completing a Mythic Keystone from +7 to 9 will now reward you with two rare animaitems.
  • Completing a Mythic Keystone at +10 and above now rewards you with three rare Animaitems.
  • The first eight bosses in Castle Nathria will drop three anima items as loot.
  • The generals of the Stone Legion and Denathrius drop five anima items as loot.

Thanks for your feedback on this topic!

"

This means the following amounts of Anima that you can get in the respective dungeons as well as in Castle Nathria:

  • Mythic+ at level +7 to 9: 70 Anima
  • Mythic+ at level +10 and higher: 105 Anima
  • first eight bosses in Nathria Castle: 105 anima
  • final two bosses in Nathria Castle: 175 anima
  • a complete run through Castle Nathria: 1.190 Anima

So if you want or need to farm a larger amount of Anima, be sure to head to Castle Nathria starting next week.
