Deep Silver, 4A Games, and Metro author Dmitry Glukhovsky have teamed up to bring you the Metro Exodus Artyom Custom Edition. However, you can't buy it.
The Metro Exodus Artyom Custom Edition is super limited - only ten pieces were made. Instead of buying the edition, you will have to try to win it through promotions in the coming weeks.
Each edition comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Dmitry Glukhovsky and Andrew 'Prof' Prokhorov, creative director and co-founder of 4A Games. All ten copies of the Metro Exodus Artyom Custom Edition have been handcrafted and include select pieces of Artyom gear. This includes a fully functional Nixie watch.
"We've worked with the renowned craftsmen at DB Props, based at the famous Shepperton Studios, to source and produce the ultimate collection for Metro fans," - said Huw Beynon, Head of Global Brand Management at Deep Silver.
"Each item is either an authentic real-world object or has been handmade to replicate the original 4A studio designs. We knew we could never do justice to Artyom's signature Nixie watch with a replica; that's why we decided to create them for real."
The Metro Exodus Artyom Custom Edition comes packaged in a steel ammo box and includes the following:
- A fully functional, handcrafted gas mask and Nixie Watch filter
- A working cartridge lighter made from a decommissioned bullet
- A handcrafted steel Spartan dog tag that will be engraved with the recipient's name
- Leather map case and Aurora travel map
- Personalized Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Dmitry Glukhovsky and Andrew 'Prof' Prokhorov
The first edition was given to 4A Games, the second edition can be won by signing up for the Metro Exodus newsletter. Information on how to win the remaining eight will be announced at a later date.
